Gallup Panel research, and even more than two-thirds of staff members who agree that their manager concentrates on their strengths are engaged. The reality that 14% of European employees are engaged suggests that a lot of European managers battle to do either. Companies that throw this fad view involvement as a strategic concern. They recognize that the manager-employee partnership is the most important chauffeur of involvement and organic development, and they approach the task of enhancing involvement with the exact same roughness, self-control, and commitment that they approach other company troubles.

The good information is that most of Europeans are disengaged yet not annoyed. They are resting on the sidelines, waiting to be motivated.
